Insufficient thermal homogeneity in an air drying furnace, caused by improper mixing of hot and cool air flows.

Objective

To improve homogeneity.

Solutions

Simulation testing of various shapes enabling to force the mixing of the two air flows without significant changes in the conditions of use (air flow rates, load loss, temperatures…).
3D computation is necessary and will take into account the relation between air density and viscosity on the one side and temperature on the other side.
